I am starting to realize that cooking healthier is all about the substitutions. Get creative, substitute out milk for soy milk, rice milk, coconut milk or almond milk, Switch chocolate chips for vegan chocolate chips. Get rid of white sugar for honey, frutose, or agave. Try wheat flour, spelt, ot oat flour instead of white flour. Many of your favorite meals don't have to be thrown out because of some simple ingredient. Who knows you might like it better then the original. Go on give it a try!
